		About This Very Special Neighborhood Adoption Project Each Starkitty up for adoption is part of an unusual rescue program called 'The Starkitty Interspecies Communication Research & Rescue Project. (The Starkitty Project). We are not yet an org, as circumstances regarding the adoption portion of this project are pending. (Scroll to bottom of page for further info). Each kitty featured was rescued off the neighboring streets of Plainfield/S.Plainfield NJ and has been raised or re-socialized in a serene and loving home environment in order to promote a sense of safety and nurturing for the beautiful felines who have endured survival hardships, disease and/or great emotional injury from prior abandonment by other humans. The Starkitty Project began in 2002 when a lone and pregnant feline arrived on the heels of an 18 inch snowstorm. Since then, over 45 other felines have come on board, one by one, in hopes of finding homes with 'awakening humans' who desire to learn more about animal communication, organic lifestyles and holistic therapies for pets. If you relate to the works of Jane Goodall, Penelope Smith, Diane Fossey or Penny Pattersons work with KoKo the gorilla, you will easily relate to our animal communication research work as well. Utililizing gifted animal communicators from across the globe, each cat has agreed to tell his/her story in a soon to be published book, Channeling the Wisdom of Earth's Other Species. They are an integral part of a very special and globally orchestrated animal communication project that helps human beings to understand the energetic - spirit connection between pets and their people. The Starkitty Project teaches how animal communication actually works and encourages 'greater awareness' of the injurious effects indifferent and uncaring human behavior has on an animals' psyche. Each adoptee will be offered a free 40 minute animal communication 'intro session' and actual 20 minute 'psychic session' with their new pet by a multi-published animal communicator. ADOPTION Requirements: - Having been rescued OFF the streets, they are to be INDOOR CATS ONLY!!! - Application Form and Personal Interview Process (To determine right match) - Home Inspection to ensure safe environment / permanent residence status. - We request an Adoption Donation of of $100.00 per cat from those who can well afford it. However, we will negotiate the Donation Amount according to each individual situation, if we feel a 'right love match' has occurred. 		Current Adoptable Kitties Thunder How He Was Found: Thunder bee-lined for my porch one snowy winter day. As I reached down to offer him food, he knocked the can right out of my hand and gobbled the spilled remains. Starving and injured, he stood incessantly meowing at me until I relented and made a cozy shelter for him on my back porch. It took no time for Thunder to make himself comfortable. He was a model 'guest' and spent the entire winter on my porch. In the spring, after many 'channelings' with him, I later transferred him to my garage to help an already pregnant female kitten in need...yes, kitten! It was her first heat. There, he fell in love and helped raise her kittens, even though they were fathered by another male stray. Thunder has been an excellent Daddy-cat and commands the utmost respect from 'his children' who currently live with him, even though they are now full grown. He refers to them as his 'wife and children'. He has been an integral participator in the Starkitty Project. His Physical Stats: Thunder is now approximately 4-5 yrs, is neutered and vaccinated against rabies / distemper. He tested free of FIV and FeLV. He is rather small boned, yet is of heavy build (stocky), due to his penchant for eating and is solid black with a small white spot on his front chest. So he appears to be a BIG BOY, when he is really not that big. He's HEAVY! It was determined initially that he had a heart murmur by one vet and that was poo-pooed by another vet...so who knows? A recent checkup in Oct 08 by a third vet said - NO WAY - he's just fine! We channeled him on it and he says he has no worries about his heart whatsoever. He is in excellent health and has very bright eyes that attest to that. His Personality: Thunder is a gentle giant. He is an 'old soul' kitty who is very well behaved and never misbehaves. He is extremely calm around many other cats. He will climb on your chest and sit for extended times. He is a great bed warmer. He cannot be provolked by other animals and emanates 'peace and harmony' at all times. Thunder does love his food, and due to starving on the streets, he tends to want ANY kind of food...and too much of it! He's great for any family situation. His Past Channeled History: In a channeling session he stated that he was originally with a family that left him on the streets when they moved out of an apartment. He was suddenly left to fend on his own. He said that living on the streets was very hard and though he kept traveling and traveling for over a year, he could find no one to help him. He stated that he has a tail that does not work 100%, therefore when he jumps, he does not always land on his feet (even though his tail looks normal). When he arrived at my house he was hurting quite badly. To avoid a predator, he'd jumped onto a roof and then fell off, hitting a log with his back. It was a recurring injury. Thunder is not the most agile cat in the world, but he can jump and quite well in fact, despite his non-working tail. Thunder has asked for a kind, self aware, holistic minded woman to come into his life to replace his deep love for me. He clearly does not want to leave the Starkitty Castle, however, he understands the over-crowded situation. He desires to continue to channel with his new woman - for he states that he hasn't met very many 'intelligent' humans on the planet. Thunder says that he is from another galaxy and is self named. He would like for his kind new woman to also let him bring Thumbelina with him, for she depends on him and they are bonded 'forever' as he puts it. It would break his heart to leave her and he worries how she would do without him. IDEAL NEW HOME SENARIO: Adult single / couple, senior citizens or zen-style, eco friendly calm mannered family. Children ok, but no wild chaotic homes please. Thunder is an emotionally mature cat. He is used to tranquil peace and harmony with alittle sprinkle of fun. Thumbelina How She Was Found: Thumbelina arrived during the winter as a lone and quirky kitten. Often she would play by herself in the yard but remained feral and impossible to catch. In her first heat as a kitten, she became pregnant by a wandering stray. I placed Thunder in the garage to try to help socialize her, in anticipation of her impending birthing. Too young for motherhood and quite emaciated herself, Thumbelina quickly embraced Thunder's gentle nurturing and allowed him full access to her babies. Thumbelina and her babies were captured and hand raised from the day of their birth. Thumbelina began the integration process and was pettable at first in her caged environment. However, distemper took hold of her kittens and she lost one of her babies. In her grief, she reverted to feral behavior, yet I knew she was not capable of living as a feral. There was something about her that told me she needed protection. By late summer Thunder, Thumbelina and her kittens were brought inside and integrated with the other Starkittys onboard. Her Physical Stats: Thumbelina is spayed, vaccinated and is a tiny cat, weighing approximately 8lbs. She is a full grey color but has tortie markings all throughout her body. Her Personality: Though Thumbelina has remained untouchable, she is highly intelligent, sniffs fingers and responds to human requests to be caged when necessary. In an environment where there are less kitties, she would most likely complete the socialization process. She is very funny and quite an acrobat. Her favorite toys are laser lights and hair bands. I personally feel that Thumbelina needs Thunder as her permanant protector & companion, however, she would probably place well with an ever so patient and mature older woman, who has time to coax her into being a lap cat. She freely sleeps on a bed and will even sit next to me, so long as I do not touch her. Her Past Channeled History: Thumbelina stated that she and many other unborn spirit kitties sit in a place called a 'waiting station' awaiting assignments to come to Earth. Thumbelina's specific assignment was to deliver Sahara to me. Sahara, aparently, was destined to be delivered here and had tried via Thumbelina's sister and via other female cats during other times to birth. She said that due to harsh street conditions, the other attempts did not work, so Thumbelina was 'spiritually' led to my garage to birth Sahara 'right on my property'. When Thumbelina was 'done' her her job, she was initially nonchalant and not necessarily interested in living indoors. However, she felt connected to Thunder and was grateful for his help. She was also curious about the Starkitty work I was doing with other felines. She came inside to be with Thunder, her companion, whom she knew needed to be with humans. Thumbelina says she is currently happy indoors for she knows she is safe and well fed and that it beats the snowy conditions of winter. She lives peacefully with many other kitties, yet very much in her own world too. IDEAL NEW HOME SENARIO: A home with Thunder. Patient minded adult single / couple, senior citizens. She is used to tranquil peace and harmony with alittle sprinkle of fun. Not good for kids. Mr. Sunshine How He Was Found: Mr. Sunshine hobbled down the Starkitty Temple driveway in winter of 07, injured from a deep bite wound to his leg. He laid down in the snow at my feet and cried. How could I NOT bring him in? Though a local shelter agreed to pay for his vet fees, when the vet announced he would have to be quarantined for 6 months due to NJ Rabies Bite Laws, the shelter 'suddenly' had no room to house him and left him in my hands. With no room left in the Starkitty Temple, Mr. Sunshine recuperated in my cellar. He's very lonely down there. He comes up at night into the kitchen area to view other kitties through the french doors. Mr. Sunshine has successfully passed his 6 month quarantine and needless to say, neither he nor I have succumbed to the fated rabies virus. Yeahyyy! His Physical Stats: Mr. Sunshine is approximately 2 yrs, is neutered and vaccinated against rabies / distemper. He tested free of FIV and FeLV. He is of medium build and is a full blown orange and white tabby with a super bushy (raccoon-like) tail. His Personality: Mr. Sunshine is a TRUE tomboy. As sweet as he is, he MUST be a solo companion kitty and it is highly unlikely he will ever get along with other cats or dogs - as he was forced to survive on the streets and has too much 'fighting street memory' to be able to emotionally calm down in the presence of other animals as of yet. I suspect he may always need to be 'king of his own castle - a one and only'. He is wonderfully gentle with humans and desperately needs a one-to-one human to bond deeply with. He climbs on your lap and loves to play laser. His Past Channeled History: In a channeling session he stated that he was born to a housecat that was allowed to roam the neighborhood. Although he and his brother, Beautiful, were touched and held as kittens, once they were weaned off of Mama the people 'lost interest' in them and they were left to forage on their own. Mr. Sunshine said that the people fed their Mother but would have nothing to do with feeding or helping the kittens. In fact, he said he was put out in the garage and from there, he was on his own. Street living psychologically injured Mr. Sunshine for it was much harder for him than it was for his brother, so he stated. While Beautiful could get along with other cats, Mr. Sunshine does not feel safe around any other animal except a caged bird, and he will instinctively go in for the attack if introduced to any other cat besides his brother. He needs a human who will love him and pay attention to him and help him over his abandonment issues. He is as gentle as can be in human hands. He needs to be part of someone's daily life. He does not require much attention, but will be sure to sleep with you and join you on the couch when you watch TV. He'd be great with well behaved kids and loves to be around action and family activity, but knows how to occupy himself when left alone too. Mr. Sunshine says he is from the angelic realms and wants to be a human's 'angel' kitty. IDEAL NEW HOME SENARIO: A busy or active family household with places for him to retreat to on occasion. Good play cat for kids BUT the kids must be mature ones - no cat tail pulling! Great for single adult or someone looking for companion kitty. Can be left alone alot, but seeks attention after a full day alone. Wants to 'be' part of the family. No other pets or cats should be paired with him except caged small animals. He knows mouse and bird and is fine with both.

		Sufi Sioux How He Was Found: Sufi was born on the Starkitty property to Thumbelina. Since his Mother was an unprepared kitten herself, Sufi and his siblings were hand nursed as well. Unfortunately during the heatwave of summer 05, distemper was tracked onto the property and Sufi, along with two other siblings contracted the virus. Sufi survived two separate bouts of the virus, which left him a bit weakened in one rear leg. Though Sufi has fully recovered and is a very hearty and agile boy kitty now, and while his legs look perfect, he tends to hop like a bunny when he runs around. His Physical Stats: Sufi is 3 yrs, is neutered and vaccinated against rabies. Due to his surviving distemper, he has not been given the distemper vaccination purposefully. He is a tiny, skinny and long-bodied tiger boy with a white chest, white paws and a perfect white ring on his tail tip. He weights approximately 8 lbs. His Personality: Sufi is an incredible child of light. He is free spirited, very happy and loves to play. He has an abundance of energy and wants to be everywhere and see and do everything. Due to early hardship in his life, he lives life with a full sense of appreciation and joy. He is an incredbly happy cat. His energy is too big for his little body and he tends to tumble alot if he does not focus specifically on where he's going. Sufi tends to squirrel and worm happily about in a blanket. He loves the cat stroller, rides well in a car and is clothing / collar tolerant. His Past Channeled History: In a channeling session he stated that his energy came through the Asian/African Earth portal / vortex with purpose - to bring light through to a very dark area. Sufi is very serious about the business of demonstrating 'Unity and Cooperation'. He says his ring on his tail is a visible reminder of the connection of every living thing. Sufi named himself, and though he wanted to be called 'Sue', we collectively settled on Sufi Sioux, so that he could express his message of Unity to multiple cultures as well. Sufi has said his mission is to work with an INDIGO or CRYSTAL child. That child can be 3 or 30 yrs old according to him, but he wants to help awaken the children of the planet. Sufi says that this is his very first Earth life, hence, his difficulty in maneuvering his body about, despite the weakened hind legs. Sufi desires to reconnect humanity with it's rememberance of connection. He says he's having the time of his life here. IDEAL NEW HOME SENARIO: A home with sister Sabrina so he can have a playmate. Any family situation with kids. Could also be for adult couples or seniors. Sufi is used to lots of kitties around him. Any home situation would be idea for Sufi so long as he feels cherished. Be aware: Sufi cannot jump to high places. Sabrina Nick-named 'Monkeybunks' How She Was Found: Sabrina was born on the Starkitty property to Thumbelina. She is Sufi's sister. Though distemper was tracked onto the property in their second month and Sufi, along with two other siblings contracted the virus, Sabrina miraculously showed only very mild symptoms of the virus. She is a very hearty girl. Her Physical Stats: Sabrina is 3 yrs, is spayed and vaccinated against rabies. She has not been given the distemper vaccination purposefully, since she has natural immunity. Sabrina is a very tiny, tortie-tiger mix with very interesting multi-colored paws. She weights approximately 8 lbs and is a bit heartier bodied than her sibling, Sufi. Her Personality: Sabrina has boundless energy and wants to be a part of EVERYTHING that happens in the household. Forever nutty, she and Sufi are the most gregarious minded cats on the premesis. She talks ALOT, head butts your hand for attention, climbs repeatedly in your lap and has not one streak of shyness that her Mother has. Sabrina is stroller trained, car trained and clothing / coller tolerant. She is a great playmate for children and extremely even tempered. She is eternally upbeat and ready to go on a beat. She is a master at spinning around in circles on the laser light. She loves to ride thru the air high in her caretakers arms. She brazenly greets houseguests. Her Past Channeled History: Sabrina stated that she was a princess right off the bat and that she was originally in a dog body, but did not take to well to being a dog. She much prefers the more agile cat body she is in. She maintains much dog spirit within however. Sabrina says that she would be very happy with anyone and does not have a special mission - other than to be here and play with someone. She states she is a dancer and her motto is to dance her way through life. IDEAL NEW HOME SENARIO: A home with brother Sufi cuz they romp alot and are very bonded. Any family situation with kids, ok. Sabrina is a bold, hearty cat unafraid of anything. Adults, couples and senior citizens ok too.

		Magic Mr. Mush & Scooter How They Were Found: Mr. Mush and his Mother Pandora, (a feral TNR) was led to the Starkitty property at the approximate age of three months by his brother Scooter, who was a squirrel that was reincarnating for the first time, in a cat's body. Because Scooter was not familiar enough with feline consciousness, but wanted to try being a feline, Mr. Mush was assigned to be his brother, guardian, teacher and protector. Scooter had lived on the property in his prior lifetime as a squirrel and had bonded with several of the Starkittys, when alive. Hence, he chose to evolve and come back as a cat, in which case, he needed feline support in order to do this. Mr. Mush taught Scooter about the predator experience and helped him to survive on the streets as a young kitten. Their Physical Stats: Mr. Mush is an extremely handsome black tuxedo cat with a white chest and white paws. He is of medium build and his tail curls permanently upwards and back towards his body. He is neutered, vaccinated and a hearty, healthy boy weighing approximately 11 lbs. Scooter is a hearty tiger boy, approx 10lbs and twits his tail just like a squirrel. His Personality: Mr. Mush is an extremely laid back, relaxed cat who gets along with many other kitties. His quiet yet upbeat personality tends to instigate daily play. He silently rough houses with Scooter and has fun chasing other kitties around on occasion, however, his play is never agressive or mean-minded. He is an incredibly affectionate bed buddy. Mr. Mush and Scooter would be great house cats for any household, however, they tend to hide when guests arrive and may take some time to integrate into a new home, as they has come to feel incredibly safe and comfortable at the Starkitty homestead. Patience will be required by new owners when attemtping to bond/integrate them into a new environment. Once they are settled however, they will be snugglebugs. Scooter will climb on your chest and butt your face with big fat kisses. Mr. Mush will slink on his side and crawl into your armpit. Past Channeled History: Mr. Mush maintains that he hails from the ancient Egyptian / Bast Temple era and that he is part of a royal suite and his role is that of guarding and guiding precious other beings. His humble motto is 'to honor all one meets'. He watches over Scooter and is best friends with Sahara. He is a great community cat and needs not to be in the limelight. Scooter says he is an angel. Mr. Mush knew Scooter in a past life but unlike Scooter, he is an evolved Earth being who used to tend to flowers, faeries and elves. Mr. Mush is here to teach Scooter all ways of being feline. They need to stay together for life. They state they contracted to be together for that purpose. IDEAL NEW HOME SENARIO: Both cats live freely and harmonistically with many other kitties, but they will most likely be very shy and frightened in a new home at first. Therefore, patient minded people/families with prior cat ownership knowledge would be helpful. It will take Mr. Mush some time to relax in his new digs. Mr. Mush and Scooter need to live together. They both would so well with other animals as well.

		Palomino Nickname 'Flower' How She Was Found: Palomino arrived in the winter of 2005, as a feral scrounging for food amidst the snow. She was hardly seen and crept around mostly at dusk. In the spring, she arrived with a kitten in tow. They frolicked in the yard but were impossible to catch. Once trapped in a Have-A-Heart cage, Palo became so distressed that I feared she would injure herself and I immediately released her. I couldn't get near her baby. One day I received a premonition that her 'child' would disappear. The next day the kitten was gone forever. I was terribly sad for I knew on a heart's level there was nothing I could do for the kitten. Palomino was deeply heartbroken at the loss of her child and I could feel her grief permeate the environment. Knowing she would become pregnant again, I promised Palo that if she would birth her next batch on my lawn, I would rescue her and her children. It was hard to tell if this feral cat was even listening to me....read more about this story below. Her Physical Stats: Palomino has grey and white patch-like markings all throughout her body. She has a soft, voluptuous body, indicative of many birthings. Palomino is estimated to be between 4-5 years, and has been spayed and vaccinated. She is of medium build and has very soft fur. Palo peeps instead of purrs. Her Personality: Though totally feral at first, she allowed me to capture her and her babies on their second day. As she witnessed me cuddle and snuggle her babies for 6 months, she slowly began to let me pet her. Today she is totally pettable, can be picked up and loves to be stroked. She is a very gentle, quiet soul who lives very amicably with many other kitties. She couldn't hurt a fly and has never ever once struck out at me or any other kitty. She is just the sweetest kitty on the planet. Palo simply wants to be loved and to sit in a window. On occasion she plays, but disappears if guests arrive. Palo will need an extremely sensitive and gentle person to adopt her - one who understands the trauma and rejection she's been through. It would be best if she could be paired with any other Starkitty so that she is not so afraid when she leaves the nest. She gets along with EVERYONE! Her Past Channeled history: Palo upon channeling with her, stated that she was from the big yellow star behind the sun. When I queried her further about this, she said we'd never be able to see it - for it is out of galaxy. She says this is her VERY FIRST time to planet Earth and she wanted to be here to see what it was like to have a relationship with a human or two. She says that these are very interesting times on planet Earth and she is here to witness humanity's grand shift of evolvement. Apparently, we're in for a big awakening, according to the cats. She states that she heard through the kitty grapevine of the Starkitty grounds and that a kind human was helping the local kitties. Traumatized from the constant birthings and losses of her babies, she ambled to the property, hoping against hope that she could be helped. She says that her newest babies are dolphins now in feline form, returning from Atlantis. She also confirmed my premonition that her last baby Squirt, had been killed by a car. Palo did indeed hear me when I had initially spoken to her and responded by purposefully birthing the kittens in my mrtle. Though she was born to a feral Mother and had never been around humans before, she learned from her growing babies that it was indeed safe to trust this 'special human' who cared for them. Palomino did not at first believe that she was worthy of love and was grateful enough that her children were cared for. It was quite a surprise to her that I kept on loving her, after her babies were all adopted out. She has expressed extreme gratitude for saving her life and making impossible dreams come true for her. IDEAL NEW HOME SCENARIO: Palo simply wants to be loved, cherished and needs a quiet and peaceful zen-like home environment. She would not do well with children. She would be great company for a lone yet somewhat active senior citizen or senior couple or a very holistic couple who have a refined, quiet home environment. She could be easily paired with any other Starkitty.

		Vea How He Was Found: Vea showed up in the winter of 07 scrounging for food. He took to living in the garage for the winter and began to hover about the property throughout the summer. He would disappear however for several days on end and then return. Shy and elusive, he would not allow himself to be seen much. Burdened with an overload of other kitties, and with Beautiful and Mr. Sunshine newly on board, Vea, due to his shyness, took a backseat to the property rescue efforts. In late summer I had a frightening premonition that Vea had been fatally injured. I searched the neighborhood. He was nowhere to be found. When he showed up unhurt a few days later, I told him of my premonition, but that I did not know what it meant or if it was even real. I urged him to be very, VERY careful of cars and streets. See channeled info below for more info.... His Physical Stats: Vea is named for his V marking on his head. He is a black and white cat, of medium build and is male. He has yet to be neutered and vaccinated. Still uncatchable, he is slowly beginning to respond to touch and my callings. Capture and vet check is all currently in the works. His Personality: Vea is a big talker. At first though he appeared totally feral, after channeling with him, he has become a constant chatter. He stated that he felt jipped that other cats booted in front of him and were taken in, but he also realized his shyness hinders his progress with me. This past summer, after three years of feral style shyness, Vea stepped up on the bravery factor and became completely friendly. He is tremendously affectionate and we are working with him currently to 'house train him'. It is going very well. His Past Channeled History: In a channeling session he stated that he and his siblings were placed in a car and driven to this town and then just dumped. He has no idea where any of his siblings are now. Vea said that he was depressed and felt that his situation was hopeless. He had originally birthed to 'be' with people. He had no idea that people would reject him and leave him to die. Though he had made it to my house in hopes of being rescued, he had let Beautiful and Mr. Sunhsine butt ahead of him in the rescue line because he could not get over his fear of humans, even though he watched me pick up other kitties and pet them all summer long. By late summer, he was loosing all hope. But when I had my premonition and became so upset for him and actually made the effort to warn him, he states that he turned to his own guides and asked the reason for his imminent suffering that I had psychicaly seen. His guides showed him a picture of the car, the sounds it would make and the street location that his impending death would happen. One day shortly after my warning, as Vea was at a street corner and just about to cross, he heard the car and saw the same vision the guides had given him. Instead of bolting in front of the car in fear as a natural instinct, he waited and he states his life was saved. Vea stated that my human compassion for him, created an opening of true hope for him. He has expressed that he wants very badly to be the next kitty in the Starkitty doors. In an effort to demonstrate this, he is now beginning to come in 'touching' distance and constantly talks so as to remind me that he is 'next' in line. I have promised Vea he is next in line, fur sure. IDEAL NEW HOME SCENARIO: For anyone who has a big heart, and who feels compelled to help me keep him safe and warm thru winter, please contact me direct at ask@starkittys.com He would make a great barn kitty for someone who has alot of property too.

		Beautiful How He Was Found: Beautiful showed up intermittently, late at night during the winter of 07 and appeared to be feral. But by late spring, he suddenly decided to visit daily. By late summer he took up permanent residence on the back porch bench and rarely left his post. His stake out was clearly a message that he'd decided that this was a permanent station for him, even though he remained untouchable. One day, after many days of disturbing him when I entered or exited my house, I finally put it to him. I told him that it was utterly ridiculous this fear game he was playing because he knew damnwell that I was the neighborhood kitty lady. From that point on he was a ball of mush and refused to leave the property. I couldn't get him off of my lap. His Physical Stats: Though Beautiful came on board as a very skinny 1 year old, he is by now, a very hefty and handsome medium to large sized orange and white tabby. He must weigh between 12-13 lbs. He loves to eat! Beautiful is in the process of being neutered, vaccinated and vet checked. He tested positive for FIV the kitty immune virus, but I will not euthanize this big beautiful loving being just because other people say fiv's are hard to adopt! To heck with that I say. His special someone IS out there and they won't give a 'bunny's behind' that he has a little virus that he may one day transcend! His Personality: Beautiful is a graceful, exquisitely gentle mannered, mature and very mellow tabby cat who just loves to smooch, be held, and be close. He is a 'kissy' cat. He comes running when called and acts pretty much like a loyal old dog. He is extremely friendly toward the other Starkittys through the window and wants very bady to make friends. Due to his FIV status, he cannot mingle. He exhibits lonliness and sadness when he can't be part of the kitty shenanigans he watches through the window. Beautiful would make a great 'buddy cat' or boyfriend to another FIV+ kitty. He is a good 'family cat' and would do well in a number of differing home situations. He is openly very friendly but initially shy of strangers at first. His normal stance is to crawl up your chest, lay each arm around your neck and snuggle his head right under your jaw. There he will stay until you pull him off! Therefore, smoochy people ONLY need apply. His Past Channeled History: Beautiful stunned me when he stated that he and Mr. Sunshine were blood brothers. Though both orange tabbys, their bodies, temperments and eyes are very different. Beautiful confirmed Mr. Sunshine's story of being abandoned and left to fend for their lives as young kittens. Beautiful stated that Mr. Sunshine had been traumatized by other animals early on and learned how to defend himself by attacking first, but by now, his habits were getting in the way of his getting a good home with people who have other animals. Beautiful has a soothing effect on Mr. Sunshine and visits him daily in a 'protected' way. Beautiful stated that he and his brother purposefully incarnated in order to work with people and though they chose a Mama kitty who had a home, they never expected that the people who owned the Mama cat would think nothing of leaving her kittens to starve. He states it is one of the perils of trying to get born onto planet Earth. 'One never knows what a human will do', he says. 		The New Cat On The Block 5/21/08 PRINCE HARRY HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Read his fairytale ending! How He Was Found: One night I saw the tail end of a rather big cat climb into my garage in the dark, howling. I thought...damn...cat in heat. Two days later he sat in front of the garage howling, while sitting. I thought he was a female at first. Then he got up. His right paw was smashed flat, twisted and bloody and it was clear he was in great pain. I instructed my indoor kitties to communicate to him that if he wanted my help, to go into the garage. He did. I then slowly coaxed him into a carrier. It took an entire day of frantic calls to any shelter/vet I could find...I am maxed out and have no funds left. At the last hour, I found a rescue org. to help foot 50% of the bill, which came to $1207.00 for a vet to amputate his leg, neuter him (yes, yet another unneutered 2 yr old wandering the neighborhood). The first night he slept in my house he curled up and slept peacefully all night in his carrier. The next morning of his surgery, he kissed me and meowed and I saw the deep gratitude in his eyes. He tested FIV+ and it was recommended that he would never adopt out, therefore we kill him. But something in his eyes told me he was an old soul - ever so gracious, incredibly affectionate and though obviously never properly cared for - he was clearly destined to be a healing kitty. He was saved by the grace of a woman stepping up to foster him and many of us chipping in to foot the rest of his bill. He was so calm and at first I thought him a girl so I named him Serenity. Not SO! He said his name is Prince Harry. Oops - pardon me Prince. The vet stated he was between 1-2yrs. We neutered/amputated and gave him all his shots. His Past Channeled History: Prince Harry stated that his original family was ok, but not meant to be with him. I tended to agree due to the fact that they let him roam freely unneutered and then apparently refused to take him to the vets when he was hit by a car. [What HUMANE owner could let their beloved walk around gravely injured like that???] He said he had planned on landing (being born) closer to his intended owner but missed the 'connection' or 'hook up' opportunity, as often happens. He had been looking for her ever since. She just happened to be the foster girl who ultimately rehabbed him after surgery! He said that he came to me because he saw that the girl, to whom he had a pre-incarnative agreement to be with in this life was registering in my auric fields. [Cats can see the underlying energy fields of all physical life forms]. Harry therefore saw the energetic connection between me and her [all humans share energies with those they've met and known and this is called 'light-stringing']. and knew I would deliver him to her. I don't mind being a messenger, but not when it costs $1,200.00, I told him! Anyway, he stated that he was a FOO DOG warrior spirit sent to assist a human angel. Yes, he says, there are many human angels on planet at this time during this mass shift of humanity's consciousness. Humans he says, are becoming more aware that their long-term spirit-less creations have disturbed the whole environment. Now that there is awareness finally, many human angels, indigo and crystal children are arriving so as to help clean up the messes the humans have made. It is all part of evolution, he says. Angels in human form often need a very powerful spirit warrior by their side as they are so light in frequency, many dark minded people like to cause trouble for them. So generally, they have animal spirit companions beside them, to help protect their energy fields. He says the energy of the angels is very powerful and many are here to show that compassion and unity - two invisible properties of life, are very powerful healing aspects for the planetary imbalances. Angels are here to non-invasively demonstrate higher vibrational living behaviors. This angel human girl is a natural healer and empath. Now that they are connected, he has begun his magical work with her. 		About The Fees / Adopt Process Each feline that enters The Starkitty Project, whether as stray, feral or who has been birthed on premesis has been cared for with the primary goal of making sure they are nutritionally well cared for, healed of any initial illnesses, vet checked and handled with a great deal of attention and love; so as to ensure their best opportunity for being placed in future homes with human companions. All of the Starkitty's up for adoption have been asked if they would like to be part of the Ongoing Starkitty Psychic & Animal Communication Project. This research is my life's work and will continue for many years, as I and many other animal communicators attempt to piece together, the connections between all species, for the purpose of further educating humanity. So far, not one feline has refused this opportunity to be a participating Starkitty. What does this mean? Our psychic research does not involve delving into personal aspects of individual human lives, as our work is quite high vibrationally and focuses strictly on bringing forth expansive and galactic information regarding our evolutional path with planet Earth and all of her creatures. If you own a cell phone, ipod or CD collection, you can well afford to support the global humanitarian efforts of one very special Starkitty. What do you supose it costs to alter, vaccinate, de-flea, de-worm, test and vet treat any injured / abandoned animal who has been living on the streets? Care to guess? Here's a for instance: The new cat on the block, whose leg had to be amputated on 3/21/08 due to a car hit, cost $1,207.00 for surgical live saving procedures. This vet fee was simply to repair him, test him, neuter him and get him his shots. It does not cover rehab time with a human, or costs for his food and litter, nor does it include ANY costs for advertising to get him placed. Now people - we need to really become educated about the cost of human ignorance. For every person who has let their unneutered pet outdoors to roam and get hit - they clearly do not grasp the horrendous suffering THEY ALONE have caused to all of the offspring of their unneutered pets - which can over time, equal hundreds of cats. Take note: Sufi, Sabrina, Sahara, Beautiful, Mr. Sunshine, Tiger (a 3 legged feral) and the New Cat on the block are all related. They are from three different batches but share at least one parent. Three suffered through distemper and lost a sibling to it, one suffered a severe bite injury to the leg, complete with infection, two of those cats each lost a leg and two cats contracted FIV. This is all due to the fact that ONE irresponsible neighbor (if I knew who it was I'd simply clobber them), lets their little unspayed girl roam the neighborhood. (If I could find and catch that little girl, I'd spay her and find her a new INDOOR home!) Personally, I'd prefer to ask $500.00 - $1000.00 per feline as the fee I am recouping per cat nowhere near covers the financial burden that I have assumed from doing this work privately and out of pocket. On an average, each cat has cost me an initial $200.00 in vet/surgery fees and approximately $25.00 per month in food and litter. This does not include all of the injured/gravely ill/amputee cases. I consider myself LUCKY if a cat's vet fees are under $200.00 - not including food. This also does not include the amount of time given to re-socializing frightened kitties or healing / nursing injured animals, of which sometimes, it's taken up to 3 years to resocialize a cat fully. It does not include the research expense in hiring the animal communicators, aquiring holistic vets for second opinions or for additional treatments and supplements. It does not include expensive costs for advertising in local papers, fliers and 'special info' brochures. It does not cover my time and effort in bringing adoptables to various stores on adoption days, nor the time I have given to interviewing, meeting, preparing and offering phone assistance to new owners. I have not taken a salary yet for my extensive time and effort given over five years for this experimental research project for humanity. Very simply, the adoption fee will be applied to yet another incoming rescue cat. There is ZERO profit in rescuing these particular kitties. There is only promise, through your fee, to help yet one more. Why am I not an ORG yet? When I began to channel the animals as a 'real research' project, I simply had seven rescued cats that belonged to me. I rescued them, I loved them and I wanted to know more about them. I never dreamed in a million years that opening up an unseen telepathic 'hearing station' would drive all kinds of animals to my property in droves. Birds, squirrels, raccoons, possums, ferals, strays, dogs....and even mice. I was unprepared for the constant onslaught of animals - many pregnant, and many more sick or gravely injured. While I struggled to work full time and commute two hours a day, I often nursed distemper babies straight thru the night. As more and more showed up, I signed up with two local agencies, who allowed me into Petsmart to showcase my adoptables each weekend. For a year, I carted between 6-8 cats in my jeep, unloaded them, stood in the stores all day, reloaded them and only adopted five cats in 1 year. Two were returned, declawed against contract and the agency who took the money for them, refused to take them back. Suddenly they had become 'out of the box pissers'. I rescued them once again, retrained them and the agency gleefully took the money for their SECOND adoptions. While I stood pandering for THEIR shelter for over a year in store, they continued to go out of state to collect more kittens. Kittens are easy sells to the public and a quick cash cow for many 'non-profit orgs!!!! They loaded van full of Katrina victims to play on even more human sympathy. Meanwhile, they refused to take in the now full grown cats I had rescued. Not even one cat of mine was allowed to sit in an available store cubicle. There was always an excuse of overcrowding. I tried another local store shelter. That shelter owner helped me to defray neuter and bite wound fees for an injured cat but when the vet stated there was a 6 mo. rabies quarantine law - suddenly the shelter, knowing I was already overwhelmed with cats, refused to take in the cat. At eighteen cats and counting at the time, I was forced to rehab and carry the cat through quarantine myself. After standing in the store, pandering for their shelter for several months, with the promise of getting one store cubicle for my kitties - suddenly they too were overcrowded and had no room to take in my cats! In witnessing a disgusting amount of 'impulse buying of kittens only', I quit the shelter run store 'opportunities' and tried to come up with other ways to advertise. I placed repeating ads in small town and big local papers. Nothing. No response. Posters around town. Occasionally I got a call. Then I became ill myself, lost my job, stumbled thru two other lousy jobs and went into credit debt. I decided I would not, under any circumstances, give up on this very special and incredibly unique project. I refinanced my house, am slowly paying down my debts and have prevailed, despite all odds..so far. Except my mortgage is HUGE now...and killing me slowly. Setting up an org is tricky business. I don't presently have the means or the resources and since this initial project is my dream baby that has cost me all my savings and then some, I am not likely to hand this special work readily over to a group of board members that I must legally choose, who can offer only typical linear minded opinions occasionally and have little or no understanding of the nurturing or life sacrifices I have personally made to this unusual endeavor. Sometimes, when one has a visionary idea - one must wait until other visionaries find her work. Perhaps others along my line of thinking will step up and assist. I happily await my team members and visionary cohorts to arrive. Until then, I hold faith that people will see beyond the dumb legalese that holds us all back from 'feeling with our pure hearts' and will see the tremendous value of the work as it stands. Might I one day become an org? That depends on who shows up to help and if I can find a way to keep the joy of doing the actual rescue portion of the work without suffering 'burnout' as many rescuees experience. I'm close, but not dust yet. The job of rescuing and saving and rehabbing is neverending work. No one seems to be able to get thru to the general public about their extreme ignorance to the plight of all shelters. They are all overwhelmed and all suffering a shortage of funds. Many have turned greedy - going after only profit - forgetting the cats are living beings with feelings and dreams. And until some of us put a new twist on the animal crisis - the humans of the planet will remain in their 'slumber of ignorance' to the pain and suffering of our wounded, abandoned strays. It's really UNGODLY to see animal suffering when it's actually thrust in one's face. Might I ever recoup the lost fees through book sales when my book is ultimately published? Perhaps if I work hard and sell thousands of books in the next few years. I don't know. I don't even know if I can manage to keep this project going much longer. BUT more important than the temporary financial struggle I face, is the value of these felines and the incredible contributions they have all made to the Starkitty Interspecies Communication Research Project. I must push on in behalf of all of the spirits beings who have chosen to be and live with humans. I cannot see allowing any of these rescued Starkittys go to people who cannot provide long term stable and secure forever homes for them. They are of high vibration and need gentle, holistic and clean environments to live in. Those who were emotionally or physically abused need gentle, well balanced and SUPER KIND human beings. Because I see and know of their value on more esoteric and spiritual levels, I have to hold a high standard for whom I see these special kitties going to. If I can't somehow respect the humans who are taking them, how can I expect the kitties will live fruitful and fulfilling lives? You will be required to be fully interviewed with regards to your intentions for adopting a Starkitty. In that interview, we will access your base of knowledge in caring for a feline and will offer integration tips - a pre-requisite for each new adopter. You will be given oportunity to bond with the Starkitty of your choosing. Upon adoption, you are offered unlimited supportive phone assistance for you and your new feline 24/7 for up to six months. This is to ensure an easy integration / bonding process. Any Starkitty that does not initially work out can be returned, however, your adoption fee will be non-refundable if cat is returned after 2 weeks. If you are not prepared to spent approx. $700.00-$2000.00 per year on a cat, and be willing to scoop poops for approx. 15+ years, don't even think to apply for a Starkitty. Why A Home Inspection? The reason I choose to take the time to visit your home is to ensure for myself that these beautiful beings are going to be well provided for while living in a clean, stable and permanent location. Since all the Starkittys were pulled off the harsh streets and then hand raised or re-socialized in a loving, deeply caring household environment, anyone NOT allowing us access to their home would MAKE US VERY, VERY SUSPICIOUS! If there is yelling or excessive noise, excessive animals, or your schedule does not permit down time with your new pets, you are probably not well suited for a Starkitty. If there are other pets in the house, I need to see how they are maintained and if there is potential for harm to occur between animals. Many times new pet owners remain completely unaware that a cat can get into unfinished basement crawl spaces, open piping systems and through broken screen windows, etc. thses situations must be ascertained and fixed prior to adoption. If a candidate seems even slightly questionable but has provided otherwise stable info and has expressed a strong desire to care for a Starkitty, I may channel the chosen Starkitty to see if it is willing to enter into that situation. To animals, there are no hidden secrets. They will tell me if they are not comfortable moving in with you! Proof Of Purchased Cat Care Items Each cat will need certain supplies such as cat carrier, cat bed, sand box, leash, Hi quality food, such as Pet Guard or Innova, cat sand and a few toys for starters. If you are not willing to have these items ready upon arrival of your Starkitty, you will not be given a Starkitty and any monies you have given us will be returned. You are either fully prepared for a Starkitty from the get go - or you have just demonstrated that you have no intention of properly caring for a Starkitty. Vet References / Additional References A Starkitty is a living being that will be subject to your lifestyle habits and human behaviors 24/7. There is no escape once a Starkitty has been placed in your home. Reference checks can prove very valuable a tool as to how you have treated your pets in the past. If you are a new pet owner or have had no prior pets, you will be asked to provide other kinds of references. You are to be responsible for a living being.
